Artists
The artists exhibited cover a variety of disciplines but have one common theme: a unique approach to their work that translates into an individuality of execution.
Another key element of our philosophy is to display art in a form that is consistent and relevant and enables everyone to appreciate the benefits of owning an original work. Therefore we represent only a small number of talented artists who we believe have significant potential. Our current stable are listed below - to find out more and see their works just click on the names.
I’m not sure how I came about making the paintings look the way they do. I know I wanted it to be very simple, yet have something significant happening in them. Keeping the landscape plain and white means there is no outside interference with the essence of the narrative. The focus is then solely on the characters themselves, all the same (as though they could easily just be the one person,) yet all painted as individuals. I have been influenced and have admired work by many painters in the past, most notably that of Andy Warhol and Jackson Pollock.
Ann Winder-Boyle is a mixed media collage artist who explores the themes of childhood, time and space. Her images evoke memories and emotions that draw the viewer into a strangely familiar place that can engender either a feeling of deep comfort or an inexplicable sense of unease. Using nostalgia as the emotive key, Ann combines a variety of processes with a diverse range of materials, including old books, beeswax, bindings and wood. Ann has a first class BA (Hons) degree and has been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition for three consecutive years
